Niech Rząd wprowadzi podatek katastralny dla handlu wielkopowierzchniowego i zrezygnuje z obrotowego – postuluje Związek Przedsiębiorców i Pracodawców.
– Stara zasada biznesu mówi: „Jeśli ci nie idzie tak jak chcesz – wróć do źródeł i podstaw tego co robisz” – argumentuja ZPP w specjalnie wydanym oświadczeniu, przypominając, że pierwotną ideą wprowadzenia tego podatku było wymuszenie płacenia podatków przez sieci wielkopowierzchniowe, wyrównanie szans polskiego handlu z sieciami wielkopowierzchniowymi oraz zaspokojenie potrzeb finansowych budżetu państwa.
Tymczasem – jak podkreśla związek – utawy prezentowane przez resort finansów do tej pory nie realizowały żadnego z tych celów. Handel wielkopowierzchniowy nie jest jedynym sektorem, który nie płaci CIT – ponad 60% spółek prawa handlowego w Polsce go nie płaci.

W ich ocenie tak skonstruowany podatek realizowałby wszystkie cele stawiane przed ustawą w kampanii wyborczej i dodatkowo mógłby umożliwić mądrzejszym gminom usunięcie handlu wielkopowierzchniowego z centrów miast. „Piszemy te słowa w ścisłym centrum Warszawy – na rogu Nowego Światu i Chmielnej. Z wyliczeń ZPP wynika, iż odblokowanie gospodarki przyniesie 5-7% wzrost PKB, co oznacza około 40 miliardów dodatkowych wpływów do budżetu państwa rocznie.
